![]() ![]() Other stuff includes the various sensors, Engine Coolant Temp (cylinder head temp for air cooled motors), Intake Air Temp, Manifold Absolute Pressure, Throttle Body Position Sensor, wire to hook them all together, and a bucket of motivation. Yamaha 02 600 has 38mm that are CV throttle bodies (1) I don't know anyone else that uses CV TBsĪnd none of the above will fit a ZX11/ZZR1200 without at least respacing. ZX12R throttle bodies are 46mm (I have 3) ![]() Somebody listed the MS Extra link to throttle body sizes, I have more info that I should post there. If you want to do a little more work, get the throttle bodies off a GSXR1000 and respace them. Just get a cam sensor off most anything, and drill a hole in the cam cover to mount it over a cam lobe. If you use a cam sensor you can run sequential injection. I have read of some using chain sprockets. Guy at Poway Cycle in California put a kit together after converting his own bike to EFI with MegaSquirt, and I ended up with one (imagine that). I've done the speed density thing a few times and will soon be trying MAF to see how different it is.In one case I have a toothed wheel (21-1) that is nothing more than a circle with notches cut in it, that's part of a kit for a ZX11 that uses the stock ZX11/ZZR1200/Suzuki GSXR pickup. Most delete the MAF sensor and tune a different way (Speed Density). Some people (like Blown88GT) up there utilize the MAF which can make fuel tuning a lot simpler/easier. It works pretty well but the whole tuning process in general can be very daunting to beginners, though it becomes second language after some time. ![]() This will not tune your Spark table so people typically set up a safe table, get the fuel table shaped up, then adjust ignition table for best torque. If you install a wideband gauge/controller/sensor, you can use a tunerstudio feature called VE Analyze Live (the auto-tune ppl speak of) which uses wideband data to adjust the fuel table based on AFR Targets that you set in a different table. Tunerstudio is the software used to program the Mega/Micro components (tune the car). To the OP: Megasquirt and Microsquirt are the hardware components that you'd actually install in the car, typically to replace the stock ecu entirely. Anderson PMS is a piggyback system used in combination with the stock ECU. ![]()
